Ca fait juste trois ans que j'ai pas proprement fêté le 14 juillet.
A chaque fois, pendant le 14 juillet, il se trouve, comme de par hasard, hors du territoire français.

Mais j'ai une chose à dire: le 14 juillet n'est pas une célébration du 14 juillet 1789, autrement dit la prise de la Bastille, en fait, le 14 juillet c'est la commémoration de la Fête de la Fédération, c'est à dire, la fête qui célébrait la création de la monarchie constitutionnelle, et de ce qu'on croyait être la fin de la révolution, et qui a eu lieu le 14 juillet 1790.
Mais bon, je pense que la plupart des français sans culture ne le savent pas, alors c'est normal que les étrangers ne le sachent pas non plus.

Pour répondre à la question posée, mon "truc" français préféré est définitivement la baguette, et ce n'est que quand tu sors de France, que tu te rends compte de la place primordiale qu'occupe la baguette dans la vie de tous le jours.
Pour preuve, j'aime tellement la baguette, que ça fait plus d'une semaine que j'ai pas mangé de pain, car les petits pains blancs que les Anglais tentent de faire passer pour du pain ne me convient pas du tout, mais alors pas du tout.

C'est marrant, je crois que c'est la première fois que j'écrit une entrée totalement en français ici, mdr.

So okay. Michael Jackson died.
Very sad.
But I'm sorry I'm so sick of all the fuss.
I get that he sort of revolutionised music, etc. but I'm really not okay with the fact that ever since he passed away, he monopolises 70% of the evening news.
What about Iraq, what about the heatwave?
What about every thing else in the world.
He was famous, he died, he was a human, he was going to someday, I don't want the evening news to turn into E! or something like that.


During my cumulative 38 hours of staying awake this weekend, I was bored, so I now have a twitter, I'm not entirely sure what to do with it, but I'm stephlaine on it, so if you want to add/follow me/whatever.
Because right now I'm being followed by one person, called Jack Fool, and IDK who that is, so ... lol
